       I'm getting really frustrated trying to find a device to give my kid. I realize, it's because I'm trying to shield him from surveillance tech when I myself can't break free.

       @derek I personally use a Light Phone https://www.thelightphone.com/My sister liked it so much she got one for her daughter.It has Voice (phone call) and Text... THAT'S IT.No camera, internet, apps, games, social media... nothing. It does not contain the technology... you can't hack in to add those things.Good for me - no distractions.Good for her daughter - communication ONLY.
