       @BarbChamberlain @clive telling cyclists not to get hit by cars is like telling women not to get raped.Yes, they can make a difference. But the real need is for systemic change around the people actually doing the harm.This is all defensive cycling, and is a good idea. But I dislike the framing.

       @clive @lkanies I work for systemic change so I don't disagree that it's what we need. In the meantime I ride seeking not to let a driver hit and kill me. The two goals aren't in conflict.
