@Lux ah, maybe i should try this for fun sometime, but i don't drink nearly as much anymore--my joints feel all achey afterwards always. i was there chatting with friend in parking lot while coke dude approached me. shame on me indeed, but it's not much my lifestyle anymore :blobpensive:

@Lux last time i tried this it made me much too anxious to be in any way enjoyable. i think my upper phase is over. i was wondering how one would find things on the opposite end of the spectrum, but it's probably just a matter of asking any dude who's camping on the street for that...

@karolat@stereophonic.space No. I just meant alcohol. Stick with the ancient methods of zapping the brain when in doubt. for sedatives it's that or grow the right kind of weed, but alcohol is cheaper and easier.

@Lux if only it wasn't so bad for you. you'd think they would have come up with much better alternatives by now, but there's seemingly always some physiological cost to getting intoxicated. i wonder if they'll be able to zap your neurons directly in the future for this purpose :blobfoxscience:
