One thing I don't need . . . is another flashlight. Must . . . resist . . . sales . . . .

@Malarkey33 I just bought a Sofirn IF23 after watching a video review - I liked the versatility of the sidelight features - it looked like a great camping light and/or take on a road trip light. But I've bought so many flashlights I'm getting all the sales emails from Olight and Imalent and Seeker . . .

@Malarkey33 I really like the Olight Warrior mini - it seems the right EDC size for my needs, but I've been unimpressed with Olight durability, especially the damn end cap button.

@DaddyO I also have a weakness for flashlights. I picked up a new NEBO light on sale not too long ago... It has a beam distance of 1 mile.

@Anthony My guilty pleasure is that I stupidly bought an Imalent MS18. It really is like holding a small Sun. I love it, but am embarrassed that I bought it.

@DaddyO looks like a very handy sized light.Only thing I can add to the durability part is that I’ve always had tail caps break eventually. Twist on-off switching is the only thing that lasts, but is slow.

@DaddyO as a flashlight addict what brands do you prefer? I'm looking at a nitecore but was wondering if there's anything better

@Anthony I have a nitecore or two. They're good lights. Most major brands are decent with pros & cons. I really have two needs from a flashlight - either a tactical EDC or a multi-use light, and I look at it from design, durability, and light output. Some brands are solid, like Imalent, but the interface or design is cumbersome. Olight is great on the design side, but I've had lots of durability issues. And there are still brands out there I haven't tried yet.So many lights, so little $.

@DaddyO yeah I have a few nitecore lights and they're really well built. I was looking at the TM20K to be specific. I like their tiny monster line but not so much the battery cell setup. This one has built in batteries that charge via USB-C
