@adrint How would it?The thing about SteamOS as used on the Steam Deck, as far as I've seen at the beginning, it's that updates can wipe it clean, except for your user folder. So it's recommended to use flatpacks on Discover, as they install locallyIIRC the thing wasn't even properly setup to use the arch package manager, I had to manage to enable it and make it work to install python so I could somehow install Trackma locallyI dunno if it changed, but from what I remember, it really wasn't meant to be used as a main desktop, even if you could do it if you really wanted to and don't need much installed

@ElDeadKennedy @kirby I was using arch until repo jannies renamed a bunch of KDE packages (the DE I had chosen) and broke my ability to -Syu. I hopped to troonix mint because I felt lazy and wanted something that "just werks". Might try out endeavour later on.
