Would people stop forwarding stuff indiscriminately, if they were forced to manually dismiss every single notification of their 'shared' material?So, when a #WhatsApp #forward 'goes #viral', imagine getting a notification each time it is sent to someone. Imagine having to clear that notification queue manually...No wait, that would also affect sharing critical #news alerts.But would that really be so bad? I mean, you'd still get them - just a few seconds late?I'm just thinking aloud...

@shrikant It would only bother people like me who are compulsive about clearing notifications & maintaining tidy inboxes. Indiscriminate forwarding speaks of a disorganised mind & overall callousness.

@shrikant I didn’t realise that. I guess I didn’t understand the joke. Rather tired of people labelling my desire for order as a mental illness (OCD) so maybe I jumped the gun.
