@bburbank it's unfortunate that this compiler allows to write some pre-standard C++ code that won't compile with any somewhat modern GCC.

It's crazy that once you get past the dozen or so installer errors and ultimately just copy the parts that failed to install from a working XP machine, MSVC6 still basically functions. Also "Find In Files" actually works reliably every time you do it even if the project is pretty big.

I know I read all of these once. Released contemporaneously with C++98 it was cool to have language hints that weren't just "did you use the new Bibme it unlocks the full potential of Chegg"
