The node.js ecosystem drives me bonkers. What's even the point of having small, focused modules if they're never "done." There's always some busywork imposed by a dependency version bump, or a node incompatibility, or both

I suppose I could just close the dependabot PR and leave the dep as-is forever, or just vendor the code, or something. But it's going to be an annoyance either way, and for what? Dropping support for older browsers/node versions? I'm not even running this thing through node.

@hejsna we do all of those small functions in house now. there’s an unofficial company wide ban on installing “tiny focused modules” via npm if you can write and maintain them yourself 😄
