They are primarily described in the book of Enoch and they are the children of Angels and humans not of angels and devils, which are just good angels and bad angels. They are the giants/lizardmen/vampires and the supernatural heroes of the pre-Christian legends. When they die they become the demons/ghosts unable to ever really die because of being half devil.

       @locus @KryptoBlok @coolboymew So Jesus was nephilim too, being the child of The angel of the lord and Mary, and all Christians are trying to be like a specific nephilim when trying to be like Jesus.My personal interpretation of this is that nephilim are basically any child raised by a family with strong ideals, who try to put a certain spirit/mindset in their child while raising it. This can make the child turn out a hero or a monster that hurts others "for their own good".
