I just go this water bottle has smelly thing on top that is meant to trick you into thinking you’re drinking >flavour<, when really you're just smelling it.Ask me anything!

@john Makes need for crema/froth on real black coffee so important ... the aroma given off by the tiny bursting bubbles adds to the intensity of that first sip of hot coffee.

@john I vacillate between “but water is fine” and “but some flavor would be nice” and have been intrigued by this idea. But my sense of smell isn’t that great, so I’ve wondered if I would even be able to smell the difference.

@john @futurebird i had a brief thot to do an experiment of drinking some fun sugar/calory drinks (oj, milkshake, starbucks energy espresso..) but spitting out instead of swallowing and noticing if it AT ALL hits ANY pleasure centers.
