       City of Maastricht sues Flanders for not building tram line they promised 😂😂😂I LOVE IT! Sadly it is just to get their money back… but who knows… tram 🥺

       @maartje why does everyone hate trolleybuses? Liège also can’t seem to build a tram because they’re broke and/or fucked up the works (I have a civil engineer acquaintance who lives on one of the streets they completely destroyed and he told me a few anecdotes about major fuck-ups that created huge delays, I can’t imagine what it’s like if even the neighbours notice their blunders)

       @maartje triple-articulated (?) buses may be a bit small for the big commuter line in Flanders but in Liège I’m pretty sure it would be plenty unless the numbers have exploded since I last lived there, buses were full but they were only small ones and not enough separation with regular traffic (they were 70% of the way there). Public works just seem to be extremely wasteful and stupid in some places… (Liège-Guillemins being a laughing stock in that regard)
