@sarahhubert the government has to stop pushing this crap.Schools are given reading lists. Some are compulsory. Others full into the PSHE subject. Ofsted checks what your teaching children and his effective ect. Teachers think they are doing what's right. It's tragic.

@Mummabear I used to be a primary school teacher and still work in primary schools painting murals, I keep my eyes peeled for this crap, so far I've just seen the I have 2 mummies or two daddies type books, nothing as wrong as this yet. It will make for an interesting conversation with the head teacher if and when I do!

@sarahhubert yeah.Maybe enquire why they choose the books they read.I'm lucky I'm a maths teacher. However, the last exam used Indian and Asian names as well as currencies. And used an Indian restaurant selling naan breads in a question.
