       @mttaggart I also did publish most of my videos on Youtube, but I got tired and started publishing those on my Peertube instead.

       @mttaggart You have a nice number of followers here, I can imagine it isn't hard to transition, more over since Peertube doesn't need an account on platform to follow. I'm looking for a project like that to test hosting reliability.

       @Andres@mastodon.hardcoredevs.com It would be erroneous to think of the YouTube audience as the same as the Fedi followers. The truth is, there's extremely little overlap in the populations. I left Twitter because being there was an untenable ethical position, but it cost me the ability to reach potential learners. I really don't want to make that choice again unless I absolutely have to.

       @mttaggart I understand, it's not a one of another choice tho, you can (I can help) maintain both (+ Twitch).No pressure at all just an idea.

       @mttaggart @Andres do you have a second place to promote? My worry would be that Google’s going to start banning accounts for ad blocking and then you’d have that choice forced without a fallback.
