Because the transport authorities don't pay enough or offer decent working conditions.Local authorities are starved of the funds to maintain, much less extend #publictransport .Meanwhile many tens of billions of euros are spent of subsidising fossil fuel private car infrastructure in #Germany. This country ceased to be an example for the #energytransition decades ago.Politically it's fucked.
