So it looks like I could be diagnosed at 40 with ADHD. Has anybody had a late diagnosis and did not choose to medicate themselves? I really don’t want to take meds.

@MegCC yes, but you have. The meds are shit anyway. 4 months of my life thrown out. All because I thought I needed help for boredom and should've taken steps to change my situation instead.

@MegCC The key to a happy life is literally(!) living in the now. Worrying about shit behind you is depression, and worrying about the future is anxiety; and both worries are beyond your control so why worry? Focus on what you are doing in the present and you will conquer your issues.

@MegCC Exercise almost daily. Meditate daily. Get off social media. Take Ashwagandha and magnesium vitamins. If you drink alcohol, consider going completely sober. Good luck!

@auld I exercise often (walking and yoga) but I am terrible about meditating. I have also mostly given up alcohol. I have on average 6-10 glasses of wine a year. My next glass of wine is on thanksgiving and after that, it is going to be long time I have wine again. Husband and I are trying for a baby so I am mostly alcohol free anyway.

@glitchit for some reason my brain needs to know if this is actually my diagnosis to try to make some sense of things. Also, I can present it to my employer if it was ever needed.
