If Israel is only at war with Hamas, how come Israel bombs a convoy of ambulances and WITHIN THE SAME DAY kills a Palestinian journalist and his family, according to Secretary General of the UN, Guterres, and Palestinian deputy observer to the UN Majed Bamya?

@randahl Well, sweetie, journalists want to be where the action is, and it's dangerous there. And Hamas has been using human shields for decades, and using ambulances, etc, to move terrorists and munitions around. They chose to do that. Nobody made them. Pretending that isn't happening is a bad look - and dishonest, too.

@arh @randahl They bombed it because they had witnesses who identified it as being used by Hamas.And again, pretending like they aren't doing that is dishonest. They absolutely are. They absolutely put their command centers in hospitals, schools, mosques, and other civilian places.They chose to do that. Nobody made them.

@shekinahcancook @randahl Yes, they did use hospitals and other places. But saying that this is enough to justify bombing all hospitals is like saying that it's justified for you to kill someone because they might end up a murderer themselves.

@arh @randahl Are you claiming informants haven't told them where the command centers are? Aren't you people saying the ordinary Gazans don't want this [rule by Hamas, and terrorism]? If they really don't, of course they would give intel on where the command centers are. Wouldn't you?

@shekinahcancook @randahl If the IDF would target objectives based on intel from palestinians, then why are the same palestinians mourning and angry against Israel? How does this explain the thousands of people killed? How does this explain the children killed, many of them being obviously too young to be able to have any ties to the terrorists?How do you see numbers in the thousands as the lowest estimations and think that all or even most of those are justified?

@arh @randahl This may come as a great shock to you, but people die in wars. If they want to stop the war, they can release all the hostages. If they want to stop having this problem in the future, they can round up all the Hamas operatives and turn them over to international authorities. Until the hostages are released, they have chosen war, period.Lets pretend the Mexican drug cartels crossed the US border, abducted white girls, and lobbed thousands of rockets at towns in Texas. If you don't think US jet planes wouldn't be leveling those harboring the cartels you are deluded. No country will tolerate that. It's frankly idiotic to suggest Israel should.The responsibility for stopping the war lies squarely on the Gazans. They broke the ceasefire. They know what to do to stop it. If they don't, they have chosen war, for themselves and their kids.And if it was your daughter abducted, you'd be screaming your head off for your govt to do something.
