Some points of consideration:1) India is not really the 'I' in BRICS - it's Iran2) Dubai is becoming a hub for global finance, especially with crypto3) It gives Europe a supply of hydrocarbons not produced by Russia nor the US, and allows them to maintain their hegemony along the way.The challenges will be:1) keeping SA in line with their agenda2) preventing Italy, et al from leaving the EU3) keeping the US in line with their goals

@Le_Big_Layaboutski 👍 Iran joins after the first of the year, but India is unreliable. It's worse than Erdogan playing all the angles. India has big problems with China. They've been buying huge amounts of Russian oil and repackaging it for the EU. They only pay in their currency and now Russia has a load of India currency it doesnt know what to do with and India refuses to pay in Yuan. Big problem for the mulit polar world. That one of the reasons I think IMEC has a chance.

@Nazareno tangentially, this is the case for gold or some crypto settlement layer with or without gold.There's plenty of incentive for no one entity to get stuck with some shitty fiat that has no liquidity.I've heard this is what the 'BRICS Coin' is all about, but have yet to see any real world results....So we wait, I guess?

@Nazareno Luongo sees a lot of things correctly, but also lets his own biases infiltrate his worldview too much too.He actually just did a podcast on the subject matter, if you're at all interested.Personally, I don't think he's pessimistic enough. But that's why I listen to him. The pessimist in me needs a counter argument as to why there is hope in this world outside of Jesus.And if not for me, then at least for the kids that are growing up in this world.We're not too far gone yet.

@Le_Big_Layaboutski I'm def going to put him back on my list. He fell off when he moved to Odyssey and I had problems finding him. I'll check the podcast ref out, We're all biased. I am. I've been building my biases for about 60 years, so they are studied. I correct them easily. I love changing my mind. I'm not above gloating over anything that confirms my bias, but I generally know it.

@Nazareno Kudos, brother, and I think you'll find yourself pleasantly surprised with Luongo.There's a holistic element to his content that speaks to our own personal inadequacies because Tom himself is hyper-focused on his own and manages to weave them in to his content.Honestly, his 'community' is like an outpost of therapy (I'm a patreon) and he sees himself as a shepherd of sorts, that navigates us through this shit we're all in.I don't agree with everything, but he's honest at least.
