       @realcaseyrollins because, it's not in their interest. They protect iPhone sales 😉Apple always wanted to lock in users to their products and services, and this will never change. Apple is just as bad as Microsoft or Google, but have better PR department.

       @realcaseyrollins It came out in some documents around a lawsuit; Apple finds it a sticky way to keep people from buying Android phones, and that's worth more to them than any subscription fee.

       No way would I pay $5 for a blue bubble. But I know what you mean. Apple could have had the market on messaging if they had done something like that years ago. Now that Signal & Telegram exist, that won't happen. Now, what @Louis Couture :quebec: said about RCS in the App Store....that's a great idea. If only they would implement encrypted messages on RCS.
