Well maybe it's because so much "Innovation" is meaningless and just a narrative for financial gymnastics?

@tante Honestly, it's super frustrating how much tech (and game, but that's a different subject) media is just super uncritical of their industry and leaders.I'm in tech, I quite enjoy tech, I also think the industry has so many major issues that the media doesn't even acknowledge, or worse, sees as strengths.

@tante I would argue it is because most "innovations" are carcinization ("crabs"). And the people slowly start to see it.?

@tante A lot of them have always had major failures, they’re wealthy men so they fail up.Now there’s some accountability. 2023 is the year the narcs started to fall.

@tante the only innovation is figuring out how to make someone else’s “innovation” make money, usually by getting government handouts

@tante ...egos with huge lines of credit are not 'innovators', they're 'illusionists' at the service of the higher egos...

@tante True. The buzzwords have saturated our media for so long that this no longer means anything. It's interesting they put Musk as their article's photo. Well, actually, just not a fan of the guy and wish these media sites would use better examples for whatever their topic is. Ok. My rant is over. lol
