Anyone have a recommendation for a podcast with doula information that doesn't use the phrases "birthing person, birth giver, pregnant parent, chest feeding" etc? As a four-time birth giver myself it's driving me a little nuts.

@Kooshlie Ditch the social media! Podcasting is for the people. For hardware, you need a computer, mic w/pop guard and cable to plug it in, headphones, and an audio production console like the Rodecaster Pro II which provides a noisegate and levels so your show is listenable. For software, you just need a recording program starting off but you should also have a website to point listeners to which requires hosting (ie Dreamhost, Buzzsprout, etc). I'm gonna tag some podcasters next

@KooshlieYou will export your episode as an mp3, upload that mp3 to your website host provider and create an RSS feed which gets updated with each episode. The RSS is where the magic happens releasing your files to the world / enabled apps. I hand code mine but there are tools like RSS.com to create one for you.Oh, you will need a ~ 2500 x 2500 pixel piece of art for your show too.

@Laurien Okay, I see your point. I'd certainly be willing to lend whatever I can. Especially when someone is sharing such crucial information. Pregnancy and birth can be intimidating enough on their own, and couching it all in wokeness makes it that much worse. I think @Kooshlie has a great idea, and she can offer tremendous value.
