@Coffeebean @anderspuck Conspiracy theories hgmmmmm maybe he will maybe he won't, the Russians are not strong enough for that, they have proven that for the last almost 2 years soooo I have my doubts, but if there were plans to continue after Ukranes desired fall there are only few and certainly not western conspiracy theorists who know

@kimwulff @Coffeebean I think Vlad Vexler has some really good points here. Putin does indeed believe that Russia will win in the long run, and that 10 years from now NATO will be much weaker than today.

@anderspuck @kimwulff I am sure that after the Ukraine war the constitution for NATO will be rewritten for the future so that the weakness Putin forsees is not going to happen for NATO.

@anderspuck @Coffeebean It is possible Putin would have continued if he had taken Kyiv, who knows but if he "thinks" he can win in 10 years then he is a fool, and does not think normally, because in my world when he has not been able to subdue Ukraine yet, and there is no one who knows how long

@anderspuck @Coffeebean it will take, a lot of resources are used there, it may well be that the Russians' war industry is large, but the flame must be turned up considerably if they are to have a chance of being able to subdue NATO, even with the deterioration that is in some of the member countries, there are actually some of them that can fight back.

@anderspuck @kimwulff @Coffeebean It's wishful thinking. Perhaps he thinks that if the U.S. gets into a hot war with China, he can march around Europe as he pleases. But China's own military ambitions are starting to fall apart as their society is struggling after years of creative growth numbers. China is the land of facades and shortcuts.

@joesticker @kimwulff @Coffeebean If the U.S. ends up abandoning Ukraine after all the promises of “as long as it takes”, then it will lead many European countries to questioning the value of article 5.

@anderspuck @kimwulff @Coffeebean I think people (politicians) put to much trust in article 5. In reality it’s unproven.
