@clive The tragedy of US politics is that the last hope of staving off a fascist takeover is, once again, Joe Biden the geriatric centrist. Don't get me wrong, I'm gonna vote for him. But if we had a healthy democracy instead of a sclerotic mess, Biden (& others near his age) would be retired & focused on supporting the next generation of progressive candidates.

@clive With all due respect to the guy quoted, we are not sleepwalking into authoritarianism.We're being steered there by a group of foreign and domestic oligarchs who own the MSM and/or massive stakes in oil and other industries that are causing climate change. This is end stage crony corporate capitalism and it's what happens when We the People let government corruption by big business go unchecked.
