If you want a nice dive into tons of the cities that are falling apart this is a great channel for it. I haven't watched all of the videos yet but the ones I have seen were truly jaw dropping. I follow a couple that tour the nation doing street views of the worst neighborhoods and a couple others that will do video essays where they explore shit falling apart. 20 years ago if you talked about urban decay people would bring up a select few examples like Detroit or Gary Indiana but these days it seems like so many metro areas are just straight up collapsing.

It really seems like almost all of the major cities and metro areas have similar issues. I know in my state the large cities have the same issues as places like San Francisco, Detroit, etc. Insane drug use with people just passing out in the streets, crazy large homeless populations, crime rates of all kinds skyrocketing, businesses closing left and right, so on and so forth. Hell, even the small town in the Deep South that I grew up on is going down the shitter after they brought a big new interstate through. Since then the mayor has pushed for more and more businesses to move in and around the same time that the black population started shooting up so did the homeless population and the drug issues that we already experienced.The one thing that most of them have in common is insanely liberal populations and/or politicians. At every single turn when someone tries to help or fix some of the issues they're made out to be villains (racists, sexists, homophobes, transphobes, bigots of some kind, etc) and any changes they mention are demonized as ways to harm the poor pitiful hobo dopehead that just shot a dose of heroin into one of his cock veins. It's fucking ridiculous.
