@BrodieOnLinux LCD or OLED? I am reaaally considering getting SD, but I'm not sure, if OLED is such a big upgrade over now discounted LCD version.

@adiz That does absolutely suck for the pilots and I'm happy to wait to wait longer if told from the start, I'm not happy to be told a time and then that time is not met

@BrodieOnLinux I absolutely hate them, they tried to make me pay twice for custom duties by sending a payment notice to my house (while I was away, and without any other kind of warning on my email), also threatening possible legal actions. And that's not the first time they do it. I cannot believe they do this by accident

@leniwcowaty @BrodieOnLinux judging from the gamersnexus video they redesigned the internals a lot in an attempt to improve thermals and lower noise output, possible since the new OLED screen takes less space. Apparently the battery is also slightly bigger. That's all I know so far tho

@mitsunee @leniwcowaty as an aside the bottom tier steam deck at $399 is now no longer the 64GB joke model it's now the 256GB model, this is still the original model, OLED starts the next tier up

@BrodieOnLinux Last mile, FedEx has been the worst parcel service I've ever received shipments from. They managed to snap a thick shipping tube (like, giant paper towel roll on steroids) nearly in half. Looked like they leaned it into a corner and kicked the middle. The fishing rod inside it was broken in half. Bass Pro, with their friggin awesome customer service, next-day'd me a replacement... via FedEx. The tube came crushed in the middle again. Thankfully the rod survived the second time.
