Did anyone NOT have a problem #printing to a printer in the local network from #gnome desktop software under #nixos ? #networkprinting My config is here BTW... https://pastebin.com/R3Hz05MZOh and #libreoffice just plain crashes when asked to #print.... Argh I am being drawn to the dark side of the fruit force.... The one with a bite taken out ... Bite not byte...

@adingbatponder @adingbatponder Make sure you have the right driver. I have a weird issue where I can not print very large files. But simple black and white stuff works fine, that is mostly what I print so I'm ok w/ it.

@yisraeldov Thanks but how does one in #nixos check or install printer drivers? Do I have to fire up #cups via browser or command line ?

@adingbatponder No, just make sure that you have the proper driver in your nix config.``` # Enable CUPS to print documents. services.printing.enable = true; services.printing.drivers = [ pkgs.brlaser ];```
