       @BongoFury Their "argument" is that the tree will eventually die, and hence is only a "buffer".There is some point to that, but with more CO2 in the atmosphere, also leading to more rain, means a lot larger land area can be tree populated.

       @BongoFury The new agenda for aging trees is to "carbon sequester" them by FUCKING BURING THEM.They then use these "carbon sinks" in places like Africa as representation of carbon credits to "offset current and future carbon emissions." Total fucking scamThis planet is carbon starved frankly, at one of the lowest measured concentrations of CO2. Plant and thus human life would vastly improve in terms of food production if we pumped up these rookie numbers

       @BongoFury tree planting was all the rage in the 80s. We had to switch from paper to plastic bags, plates, packaging etc to save the trees to save the planet 😄🤡
