We are building a technological civilization, not some fucking tree-hugger fairy-tale.Some days I would love to take these morons out to the Death Valley and explain to them that in a 100 thousand years this will be again a fertile land while the rest of the north will be under miles of ice.Then leave them there, let them wait it out in safety, void of people and technology.

Have you tried Hubzilla or Streams?You simply cannot have a constructive argument on ActiviPub, you need something like Zot.

When people complain that they need more protocols they are not aware of Zot. Its a very mature and feature-complete protocol, so I agree we need more of Zot-like than ActivityPub-like.The Fedi needs a way to compartmentalize, or it is going to become the Zoo like any other.Zot changed the way I connect, and it changed it more than any other technology since dial-up BBS.
