I was hoping to start my "weekend" with some Baldur's Gate 3, but I can't get it to launch. Wouldn't launch on :gentoo: but let's try :popos:. If it still doesn't work, then I will probably look at my laptop again. I can't seem to get xorg working on my laptop. Could be something with the kernel, but we will see. I am using a distro kernel. Can't seem to find why I can't get a graphic environment working. Worse comes to worst, I will go full DE and see if that works for the time being.

@Wyatt@fosstodon.org It runs for me on Gentoo, installed BG3 with #Lutris. I'm currently running KDE as DE, but that part shouldn't matter I think.

All in all, both issues are a user issue. I haven't found the proton version to work with BG3. And I refuse to ask for help/install a desktop environment to get X or wayland working.Plus I just remembered, I somehow can't sync with rsync... The laptop is turning into a big learning opportunity. I have a lot of things waiting on getting this system working as intended. Top two things are my website and blog.

Well, BG3 doesn't work. I tried several proton versions, GE protons, and just experimental proton. Nothing.#linuxgaming
