       Fun story about my polar bear of a dog: when she is lonely/hungry/needs to go out in the morning, she will whine like any dog does. But if no one gets up and it’s still dark out, she will bark, but quietly, like she knows she isn’t supposed to make loud noises at night.

       @jerry That's really sweet. Our GSD when she really has to go will either howl for about 30 seconds or start barking at nothing outside.
