@teratology Bitcoin is fundamentally unsuitable, but it kickstarted things.web3 mostly seems to be scammers. Maybe one day the investorbros will fuck off and we can finally start doing interesting things with it.

@teratology stablecoins arent so stable being pegged to inherently volatile currency and all, but i think crypto would genuinelly be great if it didnt get assfucked by largely unregulated investmentthats total ruins any stability, but i still use the tech and it's good and its job :NynShrug: web3 is just a buzzword which seems mean basically nothing, same shit as every unapplicable usecase have some meaningless "blockchain" some time back
