@shebang At least many American #FreePalestine supporters do support giving the land back to the Native Americans, or at least I think they do, so they’re not entirely hypocritical on that front.

Since every land has been taken many many times the two strongest claims are:- Those who were literally there first - Those who have it nowSince there is no one alive who can prove they had it first, the people there now win…until/unless someone takes it from them.

I have no idea if the Native Americans are indeed the natives of North America, or if another people was there first.Bottom line: You own what you can defend. In this case, might does actually make right.Here we have the truth of war that nobody wants to say out loud. When nations declare war, they forfeit their rights to any land that they own. Ain’t no tolerance for those who lose a war and cry “boo hoo, you took our land!” Well, too bad, ya lost.So I guess we can quibble about who owns the land all the livelong day but if #Israel beats #Hamas I’d argue that they have a right to take the land of #Gaza if they want to (as I suspect that they do), although that’s different than me condoning whatever means they use to achieve that goal of course.
