@DawnM Most foreigner teachers hate teaching this age, partly because the kids know very little English, but also because the lessons so short, and take 45 mins. to an hour.My giant family made me born for this environment. I know a thousand songs, games, activities, fun drills, how to discipline firmly in ways that they love, respect, and are responsive to (it's just another game). That time passes so sweetly and quickly.

@DawnM For sure. My children always made me younger and these kids are no different - that "powerful reason for living" feeling is the same and has a profound physiological effect, I think, where dad genes just kick in. And because I serve as a role model/example I find myself doing all kinds of things for myself that I might not otherwise do, or care as much about.As for discipline, I just make the boundaries clear and unchanging. Rare swift snaps when needed and back to happy, no enemies.
