       Can we please not have the word „simply“ in NixOS manual or nixos.wiki? NixOS learning curve is super steep and it‘s frustrating when you start and you don‘t understand how to do things that are supposed to be simple #linux #nixos #documentation #newbie #frustration

       @britter NixOS is great, and I love it. The language is not easy (but it is simple). NixOS is not for your average desktop user, It is a distro for developers. I have found many more things are simple on NixOS than they are in other distros. But you have to be willing and wanting to look at the code.@torspedia

       @yisraeldov @britter @torspedia That's not the definition of "simple" most people would subscribe to. If something is only simple for those who already know how things work, which is an inherent trait of any CLI task thats more than a few characters, then it can't be declaired as "simple" towards novices I'd argue.
