       @benjaminwittes the Karen is mostly the asshole. If I were the garbage bin keeper, i wouldn't appreciate having dog shit smell in my bin (I'm imagining having to deep clean it afterwards, but I guess I'm squeamish about that sort of refuse). But who retrieves from and then throws dog shit from a garbage can? Who retrieves any sort of refuse from a bin and throws it? Anarchic.

       @benjaminwittes small items that are not bagged are not guaranteed to be collected. Sometimes the collectors pull the bags out of the bins manually. Even if they do the machine that dumps the bin, poop bags have a tendancy to stick to the bin. In either case the owner of the bin has to fetch and rebag the now festering and fermented shit. Even if you own a dog this is trying. It’s not cool to put your refuse in other people’s bin.

       @benjaminwittes She was probably upset to that degree because it's happened before. Opening a trash can only to be hit in the face with the smell of someone else's dog's poop is unpleasant. Having that happen to them a few times might well predispose someone to yell and toss poop bags back at the offender.In any event, our dogs' poop is our responsibility. If someone removed my poop bag from their bin I'd see it as my responsibility to take it home.
