       If you don’t live in Ohio, I want to make it clear: the anti-abortion side didn’t sleep on this one. They tried everything. Every fucking trick, DeWine was cutting ads, they did the full “Liberals want to literally cut up live babies” playbook. And it still didn’t work.Honestly, this result might be the most hopeful thing I’ve seen in three years.

       @nswigger @acdha Do you think they'll actually let it take effect? Florida voted for felon enfranchisement but the legislature effectively blocked it.

       @ian @nswigger I’m certain they’ll try to sabotage it but it’s unclear how successful that will be – anyone outside of the safest seats has to be thinking about how unpopular that position has been.
