@blag I believe so! According to the docs, it's been an option since v4.2.0, which this instance successfully skipped - https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/releases/tag/v4.2.0

@mx Thank you. I was checking periodically since I saw the news via the @feditips account, so am going to implement as soon as I can. Will be interesting to see what effect it has in terms of being found, and finding others.

@blag @mx Yes, opt-in full text search is an option since 4.2.0 đź‘Ť However, your server needs to have ElasticSearch activated for the full text search to work. Ask your server admin about this if you're not sure.

@feditips @blag @mx What’s a pitty, ElasticSearch, is very memory hungry, and crash a lot due to that :(. A lighter and more efficient solution, could be better.
