@grammargirl I've stressed learned / worked in the past. Usually it is animated by some stressful event in my life that I want to escape. So I focus all of my attention on a complicated task I've been procrastinating on because it requires learning new procedures or crafts to complete.

@grammargirl I will try to learn myself out of situations where I feel helpless. I stuff my brain hoping that some random piece of knowledge will solve all my problems.
