Okay so what are some #RetroComputing accounts on the Fedi? I found something else in the dumpster besides just the early 2008 #MacBook Pro and I want to tag some smart ppl when I get around to tooting about it ! Hint: a Pentium era laptop that's not terribly well documented online (based on a cursory look) and also very full featured for the eraSuggestions?

Still having trouble finding a charger for this one. Might have to show it without power while I continue the search. Maybe if I knew more about barrel connectors this would be an easy fix, but alas....#RetroComputing #VintageComputer #90s #DumpsterFind

@penguin42 Any chunky 15v PSU won't have this size/shape/polarity of connector, so I'm not sure what you're getting at?

@liquor_american The label tells you how the connector is wired; so you just have to get a 15v psu and the right connector (and check it's the right way around!). @penguin42 Ahaha yea I live in a building with other tenants, so I'mma do my best not to start any fires. I don't really have the luxurious workspace I once did, so I have to be a bit less creative than I might otherwise. But I have a lot more patience than I used to, also, so I'll just have to go on that !
