       @peggycollins I wonder if the resident birds at popular birding spots miss their human friends when they don’t show up. I know the shore birds at the popular non-birder “lets toss bread to the ducks” space get really cranky around their normal feeding time.

       @peggycollinsWell, corvids are pretty savvy, and my just-after-dawn autumnal murder might wonder why the number of wheeled street-things is out of sync.But the jays? Nah. They have no clue. Too busy screaming.
