I concluded the negotiations with da wife. I'm not allowed to get me a €2.5k CNC for Christmas, but I can get this fucker. She calls it a compromise, I call it being suckered, but hey 😂

@nomadbynature sadly, she would figure it out pretty darn fast. I mean, she's not exactly what you'd call tech wizz, but she can tell the difference between wood and plastic 😂

@AdamAtSea @nomadbynature I'm more of an anycubic guy, but since the price is what it is on those enclosed creality printers that supposedly print ABS without extra heating systems....

@ThatCrazyDude So the old paper printer marketing ploy of sell the printer dirt cheap then charge the earth for ink cartridges doesn't apply in the 3D printing world? Or they're still at the "wanting to recoup R&D" stage of product life cycle? 🙂

@dbolli I'd imagine it's mostly that it's mostly the technical challenge of DRM-ing a roll of monofilament. If that was easy, they'd be doing that fosho 😂
