Buddy of mine who is a car dealer was telling me about how the used car market, for certain cars, is falling off a cliff.Told me some Jeep Wagoneer owners were selling their $120k cars at a $30k loss just a year into ownership.Didn't believe him so I wanted to look myself.Here's a no options 2023 Grand Wagoneer Series III: MSRP $112kHere's a 2022 Grand Wagoneer Series III listed used, 24k miles: $80k. And another with 36k miles listed at $73k.Dealer friend still says there's room to go

@NBS I've been waiting for the bottom to fall out in the used car market for about a year. I saw a video a year ago made by a repo guy in Vegas. He was buying more land to store cars because his customers (lenders) were telling him that the default rate was exceptionally high and he is going to be very busy for a long time.I think it's mostly leases that are being confiscated first. So it might be a good time to buy a luxury car in the near future.
