@lapin I disagree that games are worse today.Monster Girl Quest Paradox is better than the original MGQ so far - MGQP has a lot more depth in gameplay. Roguelikes are routinely improving, and there's a handful of board games with digital adaptations which are much better than what was available in 2014. Roblox and Geometry Dash are big-big, kids love them.VR games are playable - and good - now. They weren't in 2014. Battle Talent is very recent, and it's a very excellent game. There is an actual VR Minecraft game that's in the middle of development, and when that drops then autistic people vanish into headsets for a full week. Gorilla Tag is the current big thing, kids love it. This ignores completely the king that is Beat Saber, and every year all of this becomes more accessible.I have more fun with games today than I did 5 or 10 years ago. I think anyone who argues that games are less fun today is looking in the wrong place.
