@retrohondajunki Dont think for a second they are going after only rich people... The middle class and poor cheat on their taxes collectively more so than than the rich (this should be obvious when you consider how common working "under the table" is)... They will be getting this money out of everyone, not just the rich.Not saying thats a bad thing, pay what your owed.

@QueenValhalla Well generally no. Their rule in the past has been to not persue people who have less than 500K per year in outstanding taxes. Something that they will likely start persuing if given the man power.@retrohondajunki

@QueenValhalla @retrohondajunki No, as far as I know it isnt an official announcement for obvious reasons. But if you know people who work at the IRS they will be happy to confirm, its common knowledge among employees that they are charged with pursuing higher priced tax evasion only.

@QueenValhalla Thats about people who defraud when they file... I am talking about people who dont file, big difference by the way. If you lie on your filing they will absolutely come after you. If you dont file however they will only come after you if you exceed a certain expected amount as I said.Sorry I wasnt more clear about that in my initial statement.@retrohondajunki
