@tek Panda Express should follow its own fortune.Or maybe they aren't *that* bad I dunno. They don't operate in Canada but besides tasting "meh" it made my stomach turn whenever I ate there on my travels to the US (like literally felt bad every single time I ate at a Panda Express).That was also some years ago, before finding out I was coeliac so it was quite likely it contained Mass Quantities of gluten so maybe my assessment is unfair.Anywhooo...one thing I always struggled with in the US, apart from around San Fransico, is finding decent Asian cuisine compared to here and I just end up at a PF Changs if there is one around (I can't eat their fortune cookies but at least I can read them and they've always been decent ;)Maybe my tastes are just different?

@msh No, you’re right, it’s awful. I grew up with a bunch of cheap, Americanized Chinese food as a regular part of my diet, and sometimes I want that specifically. There’s also a fantastic dim sum place right next door, and a Sichuan place I know about, and some other places where the crowd is nearly entire Asian, and those soothe my soul.
