Anyone suggest a free (preferred FOSS) video editor? I'm using resolve and I'm so out of my Fucking element. I just need to clip out footage from my podcast, and be able to add a loop as a background

@shaneohare Blender. It has a steep learning curve, but mikeycal on YouTube has a great set of videos to learn you how to use it for video editing.Then there's always ffmpeg, if you're comfortable using the command line for video editing...

@shaneohare for simple stuff it's the only way. Trimming, codec changes, etc. I'm pretty sure, though I haven't used the capability, that ffmpeg can overlay text.
