Can someone help me with my PC? :blobcatbongosad: I was playing a game and the PC suddenly rebooted. After that, Ryzen Master refused to open. Uninstalled Ryzen Master, but could not reinstall it as the installation failed every time.I had another Windows 10 install on another disk and Ryzen Master does open there, but all the data displayed is either 0 or -1.Reset BIOS, but still nothing. CPU is Ryzen 5 5600

@critical reboot like real reboot or crash and restart? could just be a windows update which fucked up everything

@Jain crash. Everything just went black and started booting again. AMD showed a message that settings were restored to default because of a system instability (it's always been stable before).

@enigmatico in event viewer there was only 1 critical error stating that the system rebooted unexpectedly. No BSOD, no freeze. The monitors went black and I heard the fans ramping up as normal during boot and then windows began loading as normal. I reset the Bios settings after this, but it still refuses to install Ryzen Master. The mobo is an MSI B450 m.2 Pro max.I'm starting to worry if somehow the CPU fried itself and locked down to protect from further damage.

@enigmatico well, the system boots and looks normal. The clocks are a bit lower, but I guess that's from resetting the Bios and loosing any curve optimisations and overclocks it made. But Ryzen Master refusing to work across two different OS installs is weird.I have an old Ryzen 5 1600 I could swap to. If RM installs with it, them maybe the cpu is semi-toast. :blobcatonfire:

@critical try this:https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/109xwt4/fix_for_ryzen_master_unable_to_initialize_on_win/it pretty much could be that the crash happened somewhere within certain drivers which then got flagged by windows which results in loading not correctly

@critical possibly your disk is giving uphave you had any io errors? is it a single disk? in any case take some backups now if you havent had before

@enigmatico I left the PC unplugged all day yesterday and then I booted into the old Windows 10 install. Ryzen Master seemed to display data as usual. On the new Windows 10 install, RM still refuses to install.So I guess it's a software issue after all :blobcatthink:
