       Also, isn't it kinda worse? Paraphilia is not "away from other orientations", it's a more widely applicable term than normophilia, and most orientations, if we could by number alone, are paraphiliac.

       @paper_crook that's really such a fucked up thing to say. Chrono babies ARE affected by ageism. Being affected by ageism doesn't mean being emotionally offended by it (babies are offended by having their feelings ignored, by the way! they can understand that!), it also means experiences material consequences. Crying babies are routinely left to cry without any help, because they're seen as an annoyance. Meanwhile many of them have real reasons to cry, like pain or stress.

       @comrade_lecter @paper_crook When babis cry, they Always have a reason. They can't just say "Hey, excuse me, but my diaper is full, do you mind changing it", they just cry and hope their caregiver (is that the right word in english?) understands it. The quality of the bond of the baby to their caregiver depends mainly on how good the caregiver is at interpreting the signals the baby gives and reaction in a fast and appropriate way.
