@Urban_Hermit Can you point me to the art? Because I have no memory of being inspired by a specific piece of art when I wrote this sitting in a carpool over four years ago. It's possible it's something I saw and my conscious mind forgot.

It was something circulating on Reddit 8 years ago, originally from Deviant Art, but the text and some minor editing was added by some one else. Enough details are different that what you wrote was no doubt written independently, but it definitely is a related thought...

@Urban_Hermit Oh! I remember this and have seen it captioned a number of ways. It wasn't the inspiration for what I wrote, but I like it and absolutely see the similarities. :-) Thank you for bringing it back to my memory!
