@nextcloud Although it can‘t get worse with the fuel-lobby nonsense-talking #FDP, we have to define how AI can be used under ethical points of view.This is a double-edged sword so acting hastily here doesn’t benefit anyone - but even (or especially?) many „politicians“ think that throwing with buzzwords can be set equal to really knowing what one is talking about these days: this spoken, times are getting thrilling but we should be aware that completely bowing down before AI without questioning the specific purpose maybe a one-way-street…

I highly doubt that ChatGPT is not used by other representatives. I personally think that one of the biggest problems is that this tech lies (mostly) in the hands of big corporations which makes any endeavors to use AI ethically in politics reliant on them. Weve seen how Facebook used its power to influence politics. I don't want the risk for AI.

@nextcloudYou have to know the FDP to put it into perspective. They are a paid party by industry, hence they only say it to push AI.In most German parts they are again below 5%, so not a part of any governmental structure anymore, because of what they did in the past years of their governmental role.

@nextcloud That might be an improvement for the FDP, to be honest.Though it does concern me that we won't be hearing the ideas of the FDP want, but of some strange, copycat AI.
