       The Lone CypressThis iconic tree sits out on a granite cliff on the Monterey Peninsula and is said to be one of the most photographed trees  in the United States.Besides the tree and it's beautiful surroundings, I'm really amazed at the stone work around the tree.You can find this tree on the 17 Mile drive on the Monterey Peninsula with access to a number of beautiful beaches.
